ANTINOMY are an italian Metal band born in Milan on september 2005 with the purpose to fuse different influences, from Ghotic Metal to Melodic Death Metal to Symphonic and Folk music. During the first years of activity the band goes through several difficulties and line-up changes, but thanks to the perseverance of the founding members, Marco [bass] and Eric [keyboard and extreme vocals], are able to renew itself and continue to follow its own path.
On June 22, 2007 Antinomy, with the ex-vocalist Johana and guitarist Maurizio, make the first self-produced DEMO CD: "Origin of All Pains".
The demo, free distributed during serveral worldwide metal festivals, receives several criticisms by the reviews because of a fragmented songwtirings and dissonant vocal lines, fatures that also attract some positive comments by the ones who appreciate the peculiarity of the sound.
After a difficult period, in early 2008 the original line-up were rearranged with the inclusion of the keyboards and a new drummer (Cristiano) and a new female vocalist: irina.
In November, 2009, Antinomy starts their live activity, playing in some clubs of Milan: Spazio Aurora, Ittolittos, Barrio's Cafe', La Cattedrale, MOD Cafe', DIAPASON Music Pub.
In Mars 2009 the band enter in Sound City Studio (Gaggiano, Milan, Italy) to record the new demo with Andrea Messieri (Macbeth's keyboardist) as sound engineering. The CD, called "Nonsense", contains 4 songs:
The Love Kills, Heroin , Light and Madame Death.
For the last song 'Madame Desth', Antinomy choose to have a special guest vocalist: Andrea 'Dest' Mereghetti, singer
of the metal band Heavenfall.
In date 12 July 2009, Antinomy goes to the highly acclaimed New Sin Studio in Loria (Treviso), where the recordings are mixed and mastered by Luigi Stefanini.
The new CD 'Nonsense' is finally ready and printed in 700 copies, ready to invade the world!
But soon others problems comes: Maurizio and Irina are forced to leave the band due to their job.
Also this time, the remaing members Eric, Marco and Cristiano don't lose their heart and starting to search new members. In some months, the line-up is again complete, with:
Lorenzo, the guitarist of Death/Thrash metal band Inside Human Cruelty;
and Clizia, a professional singer, vocalist of Barril do Cartoon.
With the new line-up, in 2010 Antinomy restart their activity and the creation of new songs that includes brand new influences! The band is preparing to tread the boards again!
